Humfreys Farm Shop (1.2 miles)

A modest little shop with a great range of Cornish cheeses, local veg, meat, and cakes fresh from the kitchen. Included in the 2011 Times "Britain's best farm shop" guide so it must be worth a visit!

Crellow (1.8 miles)

The Crellow husband and wife team concot their prize-winning homemade chutneys here at Crellow HQ. You can pick up their tasty chutneys, relishes and condiments at farm shops across Cornwall (visit their Web site for details). Tregony (2.2 miles)

Being the gateway to the Roseland Peninsula, Tregony is well known in Cornwall for its Christmas lights and The Clock House Players who perform a fine pantomime at half term in early spring making it a lovely destination at any time of year.

Tregony has a gallery, farm shop, good pubs, an antique shop with an eclectic selection of unusual and interesting pieces and fabulous walks around the peninsula all nearby.

Lobbs Farm Shop (2.3 miles)

The beef and lamb here is born and reared down the lane at the award-winning Kestle Farm, keeping food miles to an absolute minimum. In 2009 Lobbs bagged the Taste of the West Gold award for retail outlets in Cornwall and in 2011 was mentioned in the Times "Britain's best farm shops" guide. The Countryside Barn visitor centre here has interactive displays about the farm animals, crops and wildlife found on the farm. While you're here, pay a visit to the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan.
