The Boathouse

A stylish, tranquil waterside house with a beautiful outlook over the ever-changing creek. This unique property is set on the banks of peaceful Restronguet Creek where the view is really maximized from every aspect creating the most wonderful holiday destination.

As soon as you walk into The Boathouse you will be wowed by the view, the kitchen/diner has large sliding doors that open to the wrap-around decking and windows that really make the most of the view. The kitchen is perfect for a large group holiday, with a sociable island and bar stools for perching on when relaxing and sipping your morning coffee from the pod machine. The pretty Aga is turned off over the summer months however the two-ring gas hob can still be used for cooking and there is also a portable single ring induction hob provided. You can also make use of the gas barbecue on the decking area in warmer months.

Through the double glass doors from the kitchen/diner is the fabulous sitting-room with huge windows really making the most of the waterside location. Enjoy relaxing on the sofas watching the ebbing tide and the glorious view. There are sliding doors in the sitting-room so you can enjoy the balmy summer breeze drifting through the house, bringing the outside in. There is of course a Smart TV and snuggly blankets for those cosy nights in after a day out exploring.

There is a great little office/snug just off the kitchen which brings some handy extra space to your accommodation, there is a sofa, Smart TV and desktop monitor should you need to do any work while you are away. The owners have thoughtfully provided a larder for all your holiday food storage with a second fridge and microwave along with a separate utility-room with a sink, washing machine and tumbler-drier.

Upstairs you will find four beautifully appointed bedrooms. The principal bedroom of course really has the wow factor, it spans the width of the house with large windows overlooking the creek. Enjoy a peaceful moment in the king-size bed with your cup of tea before the day starts, should you want a little more peace and quiet snuggle up on the sofa in your bedroom with a good book. The principal bedroom also has a lovely shower-room. There are three further bedrooms all of course beautifully decorated; bedroom two and three both have king-size beds and bedroom four has twin beds; all with Velux windows that have blackout blinds installed, plus a family bathroom.
