This newly renovated artist-style residence located in Ilfracombe's harbour area is a short flat walk to Wildersmouth beach and the harbour. The house has been refurbished to high standards and is well-equipped and furnished using a mix of vintage finds and new items in a fresh, creative and contemporary style.

A fabulous holiday abode which is perfect for a small family, a couple or even a solo traveller, semi-detached Rock is set in a vibrant location with a variety of independent galleries, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and activities literally on the doorstep.

A tiled entrance leads into a spacious, comfortable and relaxing sitting/dining-room. A galley kitchen leads off the sitting-room with all the appliances and equipment you will need to enjoy cooking and entertaining.

On the first floor, the bedroom at the front of the house with a small double bed looks out over St James Place and Capstone Hill with hints of the sea and coast. This bedroom is served by a sumptuous and spacious bathroom that has a double-ended claw-foot bath and a separate shower cubicle.

On the top floor is the spacious and attractive main bedroom with a king-sized bed and en suite shower-room. This room has a large bay window with a seating area offering direct views of Capstone Hill and glimpses out to sea.

Being located close to the harbour, beaches and town makes up for there being no outdoor space at this coastal abode, in fact you have so much on your doorstep you will have to come back to continue exploring this fantastic area.

Ilfracombe is home to Verity, Damien Hirst's iconic bronze sculpture which watches over the entrance of the harbour and the location provides the opportunity to see the local catch being landed or take a boat trip to explore the coastline or Lundy Island. There are several dog-friendly beaches and coves and some quality eateries serving the best fish and chips.

Walkers will love this location, close to the South West Coast Path and just a short drive to the splendour of Exmoor with its wonderful riverside, coastal and moorland walks. The spectacular coastline in this National Landscape (formerly known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) has many sandy coves, great for clambering over rocks and exploring rock pools. Whilst, within just a 15 minute drive or short bus ride away, the award-winning beach at Woolacombe has miles of golden sands ideal for buckets and spades and surfing.

Rock is in a location where you can enjoy the local area on foot or by public transport (there are many bus routes close by) or use the house as a base to explore the surrounding coast and countryside.
