Birdsong may well be your lasting memory from Leat Mill Cottage, as so many birds visit its patio and enclosed garden. In an unspoilt Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty popular with walkers (the occasional rambler strolls past), the cottage is spacious and comfortable with some lovely original features. If you're in need of a recharge, this place is the answer; snuggle beside the wood-burner in the sitting/dining-room, enjoy the well-equipped kitchen and, upstairs, have a great night’s sleep in the pretty bedrooms. Leat Mill (1409) is across the private gravelled drive, adjoining the Owners’ house. A ramble along the banks of the River Lyd (fly fishing can be arranged in season) takes you into Lifton village and its two excellent pubs.

Leat Mill Cottage is close to Dartmoor, with Roadford Lake Country Park four miles away and both north and south coasts within easy driving distance. In this peaceful area there are just a handful of nearby neighbours.
