Nestled in the rugged countryside of west Cornwall yet just a short drive away from the stunning beaches of St Ives you will find The Piggery an enchanting semi-detached single-storey dwelling, perfect for a solo traveller or a couple looking for a romantic bolthole. This little cutie is surrounded by a stunning shared garden where a communal courtyard leads you to the entrance to The Piggery. Open the gate and step inside to a simply lovely, gravelled area which is yours to enjoy from dawn until dusk.

The Piggery has been beautifully created by the owners with the emphasis on a slower pace of life in mind. Step into the living area with a comfy sofa perfect for relaxing on after a day out walking the coast path. The pretty double bed sits at the end of this lovely open plan room, a separate kitchen leads off the living space (reached via two steps) and this is beautifully crafted with all the equipment you will need to create a holiday meal. A bespoke breakfast-bar with stools finishes this nook off nicely, the perfect space for two! You also have a handy shower-room (reached via two steps) with a refreshing shower, ideal after a busy day of exploring. The enclosed patio is just the place for morning coffee, long leisurely lunches or perhaps star gazing. The owners of The Piggery live next door and are happy to help if you have any questions about the area.

The Piggery is located in the heart of Zennor, a sweet little village steeped in history and located on the coastal road between St Just and St Ives. The super popular local pub The Tinners Arms is conveniently very close by. Open every day the "Tinners" (as the locals call it) is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year. During our warmer months you can enjoy a chilled glass of wine in the sunny garden with views to the Atlantic coastline and as the days shorten and the temperature drops settle in by the roaring fire with a legendary Tinners ale and a dish of something hearty.

Perfect for walkers the southwest coast path can be accessed from Zennor, (so don't forget those walking boots) and if you're feeling energetic the walk to St Ives is a must! The views are breathtaking and if you're lucky you may spot a seal or two.

Your location is ideal for adventures along the captivating far west Cornish coast. A short drive along the coast road and you will discover the delights of west Cornwall, where the enchanting St Michael's Mount, Tremenhere Sculpture Gardens and quaint fishing villages of Mousehole and Newlyn wait to be explored. The Minack is also well worth visit, an open-air theatre carefully carved into the Cornish cliff face. Take along a snuggly throw or two as it can get a little chilly, especially at night.

Why not leave the car behind for the day and hop on the bus to St Ives, a picture-perfect seaside town dotted with fabulous restaurants, coffee shops and independent boutiques. Enjoy a stroll down to the harbour along the narrow, cobbled streets or visit the famous Tate St Ives for a taste of Cornish and internationally acclaimed art and culture; with so much to see and experience we are sure you'll never want to leave.
