The Summer House is a beautiful, detached family house and is just a five-minute walk from both beach and village life. This gorgeous retreat oozes style and comfort, think modern day beach house. With a contemporary large enclosed rear garden, it is perfect for enjoying warm evenings and has a good-sized patio with outdoor seating for al fresco dining. Furnished throughout to a high standard The Summer House has substantial accommodation for eight lucky guests. The modern kitchen and dining-room offers plenty of space for cooking up a feast and dining all together after a day out on the beach. The cosy sitting-room has soft seating and is a calm and restful room.

Head upstairs to discover the four pleasant bedrooms. Bedroom one is a striking room with a king-size bed and a fabulous en suite shower-room. Bedroom two has a king-size bed and bedroom three has a double bed - all super-stylish rooms with the most comfortable looking beds to sink into at the end of the day. Bedroom four is a sweet twin room which the children will love! There's also a family bathroom, ideal for a long soak after a day of exploring.

The charming Cornish village of Crantock is a very friendly place with thatched cottages, a village shop, two pubs and a beautiful Norman church. This is a wonderful location for a family holiday, and The Summer House is just a five-minute walk from both beach and village life. Although close to the vibrant town of Newquay and its stunning beaches, the slower pace of life in Crantock allows you to switch off and enjoy the tranquillity of your coastal getaway. The village is very picturesque with its thatched cottages, cute tea-rooms and miles of unforgettable coast path on your doorstep. There's a lovely choice of fabulous eateries in the village, and we highly recommend soaking up the Mediterranean vibes of Jam Jar, with its delicious artisan pizza and a chilled glass of wine.

Just a short drive from Crantock brings you to the beaches of Perranporth and Watergate Bay, and a trip to the nearby laid-back village of St Agnes is well worth adding to your wish list. Wander around the village and explore the independents shops, cafes and restaurants, and stop at Trevaunance Cove for a refreshing dip in the sea. The popular town of Padstow is not too far away and is a great choice for a day out, with its seaside shops, art galleries and pubs. Whilst you're there, why not hire a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail? And once you arrive back at Padstow, treat yourself to some fish and chips as you watch the comings and goings of the harbour. Bliss…
