A warm Cornish welcome awaits you at Tredore, a stunning historic home, nestled in the heart of the charming village of Charlestown. Tucked away along a private lane, it's such a peaceful escape and hard to believe that it's only a couple of minutes stroll away from the heart of the village and the historic harbour. Tredore is a wonderful choice for a holiday with family and friends on the south coast of Cornwall. You'll be planning your return holiday before you've even left…

Step inside and this house is set to impress, beautifully presented, with a great mix of modern and vintage pieces and stunning fabrics and wallpapers - creating a truly lovely vibe! Your holiday kitchen is wonderfully light and airy with a large range-style cooker to delight the holiday chef and views over the garden. The dining-area is set at one end of the room, making it a doddle to serve up meals, but with such a great choice of places to eat and drink dotted around the harbour, there really will be no need to dine in.

The pretty sitting-room invites you to chill out at the end of the day after discovering all the delights this area has to offer, or on balmy evenings escape to the lush garden, a real bonus for Charlestown, for al fresco feasts on the terrace, relaxing with your chosen holiday read or simply lounging as the sun sets and the day comes to a close. When it is time for bed, head up to the stylish bedrooms, where super comfy beds adorned with luxury linens will assure a good night's sleep and what a treat is in store for the younger members with the double bunk-bedded room, what fun they will all have together.

Tredore is the perfect Cornish escape, not only for blissful summers spent exploring but also for dreamy winter hideaways.

There's a certain magic and charm to the historic village of Charlestown, and there's lots to explore from your doorstep - so if you fancy a week free from driving, you've picked the right place. Charlestown has a fantastic selection of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and street food pop-ups so you certainly won't be short of places to eat! Charlestown also has a selection of stylish boutique shops and galleries if you fancy a spot of retail therapy. Warm summer evenings can be spent wandering along the very pretty harbour, marvelling at the historic tall ships whilst picking up a treat from one of the street food stalls, before heading back to your beautiful retreat.

If you're in search of those breathtaking coastal views synonymous with Cornwall, lace up your walking boots, pack a picnic and head out for a scenic walk along the coastal path - your pampered pooch will be in their element. Perhaps you're after a lazy day on the beach, building sandcastles and taking the odd dip in the crystal-clear waters and if the youngsters need to burn up some excess energy, the local park is just across to the lane.

Charlestown was one of the favoured locations for filming the popular TV series Poldark, so if you're a fan, seek out the filming locations and walk in the footsteps of Poldark himself!

If you do fancy venturing further afield St Austell Bay is dotted with a number of golden sand beaches and there's a fantastic choice of gardens to visit, including Heligan, Pinetum, Marsh Villa and of course, the Eden Project. The stylish sailing town of Fowey is nearby and is well worth a visit for itsrestaurants, cafes, boutiques and galleries, or perhaps kayak up the river to the little village of Lerryn, said to be the inspiration of Kenneth Graham's Wind in the Willows.
