This gorgeous terraced retreat is the perfect place to explore the delights of West Dorset; from the market town of Bridport to the countryside and Jurassic coastline beyond.
Step through the door into the cosy and welcoming sitting-room with all the charm you would expect from a home of this age. Head through to the kitchen and the classic atmosphere continues; it's a beautiful space to create special meals together or to spend time over breakfast, making plans for the day.
Upstairs the bedroom is light, airy and super comfy - a chic mix of old and modern touches throughout. Across the spacious landing you will find the bathroom; a pretty space where you can enjoy a reviving bubble bath or refreshing shower at the end of a busy day.
The courtyard garden, located through the gate, is yours to enjoy, a charming al fresco dining spot for those balmy summer nights or for morning coffee.
Bridport is right on your doorstep and the high street is brimming with interesting independent shops set alongside plenty of dining opportunities. The twice-weekly market has an abundance of stalls - with plenty of antiques, local produce and quirky goods on offer so you won't be short on holiday souvenirs and unique finds.
Walking from the cottage you can explore the local area on foot - from West Bay with its dramatic coastline and beaches, to the village of Symondsbury and Hell Lane - an ancient hollow way with hundreds of years of graffiti etched into the sides. The county town of Dorchester is within half an hour and has numerous museums to explore or head to Lyme Regis and walk the Cobb by the harbour.
