Enter through the convenient front porch, handy for storing coats and boots into the open plan living-room with kitchen-area complete with stylish units and the all-important dishwasher. Portscatho is a much sought-after harbourside village with oodles of Cornish charm. For your morning coffee and fresh pastries head to Tatams with fabulous views over the bay, and for lunch and dinner Tavola serve pizza either eaten in the restaurant or take away. Walk along the coast path to the Hidden Hut where guests sit side by on wooden benches to enjoy the freshest of local produce and afterwards head to gorgeous Porthcurnick beach, one of many beautiful beaches along the Roseland coast.
If you decide to explore further afield, the delights of St Mawes are a short drive away. This vibrant village has much to offer including a great selection of eateries, so you can choose from fine dining to fish and chips eaten from the paper on the seawall and everything in between. Hire a kayak from the harbourside and explore the many sheltered coves and inlets or take the passenger ferry over the Carrick Roads to the maritime town of Falmouth with its eclectic shops and fabulous maritime museum. The iconic Eden Project with its mighty biomes makes for an interesting day out or perhaps visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost in time since WWI and restored 30 years ago to its former glory.
