Goose Chase

Found deep in the heart of the stunning countryside of west Cornwall, just on the outskirts of the pretty village of Madron, Goose Chase is a fabulous holiday retreat, perfect for families or friends looking for a Cornish getaway.

From the moment you turn into the grand driveway you will realise you are somewhere very special. This welcoming abode sits in beautifully manicured wraparound gardens with a series of steps leading up from the terraces to the front door. The talented owners have cleverly styled Goose Chase in gorgeous blue and grey hues to match the seascape views and gorgeous artworks complement each room. The sitting-room has oodles of space for everyone to sit and relax and, if you can tear your eyes away from the stunning view, a Smart TV will entertain you after a busy day at the beach.

The kitchen is perfect for sociable cooking, and the separate dining-room has a wonderful table with plenty of room for everyone. A perfectly placed conservatory leads from the dining area, so you can wander through with your morning coffee (made using the Delongi Magnifica S coffee machine) or perhaps an evening aperitif and take in the blissful panoramic bay views. There's a separate utility-room with washing machine, tumble-drier and fridge/freezer and also a cloakroom with WC and basin.

Goose Chase has three well-appointed bedrooms, all beautifully furnished with white linens and luxury Harrison Spink's mattresses, guaranteed to give you a restful night's sleep. Bedrooms one and two both have king-size beds and bedroom three is a cosy single room, ideal for either a child or adult. The family shower-room has a large walk-in shower where you can rinse salty toes after sea swimming.

Outside, there are extensive manicured gardens offering peaceful walks and tranquility throughout the year. To the front, a sunken patio offers seating and a firepit where you can relax toasting marshmallows. There's a table and chairs outside the kitchen and another on the rear patio so you can decide where to sit depending on the angle of the sun. The icing on the cake has to be the view over the gorgeous Cornish countryside towards Mount's Bay and of course iconic St Michael's Mount.
