Stargazey Barn has been beautifully created with comfort in mind. Step into the living area and you will enter the sitting-room with a gorgeous emerald green velvet sofa perfect for relaxing. The pretty double bed sits at the end of this lovely open plan room, where light floods in through the Velux windows. A separate kitchen leads off the living space and this is beautifully crafted with all the equipment you will need to create a holiday meal. A small dining-table sits behind the door, the perfect space for two! A handy shower-room completes the barn, with a refreshing shower ideal after a busy day of exploring.
Outside, a communal courtyard leads to the front of Stargazey Barn where you can conveniently park your car. To the rear, a simply lovely garden is yours to enjoy from dawn until dusk. West Cornwall is a land of myths, legends, gorgeous landscapes and magical coastline. Stargazey Barn is ideally situated close to both coasts so in just a short drive you can be enjoying the cosmopolitan town of St Ives, famed for its fabulous beaches, cobbled streets and a selection of interesting galleries including The Tate overlooking Porthmeor Beach. A little further along the coast Sennen Cove is a delight and a mecca for water sports lovers. Head to Penzance on the south coast for a good selection of eclectic shops and a promenade which runs along the seafront and gives a spectacular view of Mount's Bay. Try the Jubilee Pool, an art deco lido right on the seafront and warmed by geothermals. Wander along the promenade to Newlyn, a pretty fishing town with some great eateries and galleries. In the opposite direction, iconic St Michael's Mount sits majestically out in the bay. Check the tide times and either walk along the causeway or take the ferryboat when the tide is high to discover this historic castle.
Walkers should explore the many footpaths and bridle trails which criss-cross the area or perhaps head towards the coast in either direction with everchanging sea views all year round. Nature lovers will love the abundant wildlife including birds and bats which make their home here. The mining heritage of west Cornwall is evident all around and the sun setting over the local mine is quite spectacular.
