Little Eyrin

Tucked away in a wonderfully secluded area surrounding the tranquil Swanpool Lake Nature reserve, this modern family house is the perfect location for those wanting easy access to beaches, coastal walks and the delights of Falmouth town.

Set within a sheltered enclosed plot only five minutes away from Swanpool beach, Little Eyrin has plenty of space to spread out. On the first floor you will find an open plan living space with a fabulous kitchen to fulfil your culinary needs, along with a dining-table for six to enjoy a feast any time of day. Tucked into the eaves is the sitting-area, snuggle down with a hot chocolate and a game of Scrabble after a day on the beach perhaps and enjoy that calming feeling you get after a day of breathing in the fresh sea air. Under-floor heating keeps the flat nice and cosy in the winter months while the fabulous Velux windows can be opened up to let the fresh sea breeze in.

The three tranquil bedrooms and family shower-room are all found on the ground floor - the bedrooms are toasty warm in the winter but remain lovely and cool in the summer to ensure a good night's slumber. Each bedroom has 'zip and link' beds to ensure flexibility for your party so there's no fighting over the beds at Little Eyrin. The main bedroom has a luxurious super-king bed (or twin beds) and a fabulous en suite shower-room whilst the two further bedrooms share the family shower-room.

Outside you have a sheltered courtyard patio which catches the sun for most of the day, retreat here after a day on the beach and light the gas barbecue to cook some fresh fish on the grill perhaps and see if you can find any local inspiration for a new culinary treat. The owner's house is nearby and they are more than happy to help but will always respect your privacy. Fear not if you do not want to cook; Hooked on the Rocks is a fantastic waterside bistro with amazing views at Swanpool beach. There is also a lovely bar nearby at the Falmouth Golf course which always ensures a warm welcome. Venture into Falmouth and you will find a plethora of restaurants and eateries no more than a half an hour walk or a five minute taxi ride.
