From the moment you arrive at Valdora you will realise you are somewhere very special indeed. The front door of this smart, brick built semi-detached home leads into the hall and from there into the spacious downstairs living space.
The gorgeous sitting-area has comfy sofas and a Smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a busy day on the beach. The creative owners have worked their magic here with contemporary lighting and fabulous furnishings marrying seamlessly with gorgeous, restored features such as two original fireplaces. The super sleek kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a holiday feast and guests can perch at the breakfast-bar to chat with the chef or gather around the dining-table. Bi-fold doors lead onto the decked area and garden, a sheltered sun-trap where you can relax from sunrise to sunset. A WC and wash-basin are conveniently situated on the ground floor.

From the moment you step onto the ferry to the Isle of Wight the adventure begins. With miles of secluded beaches, quaint villages, picturesque countryside and endless coastal walks, the Island really does have it all when it comes to a holiday getaway. The vibrant village of Seaview sits on the north-eastern side of the Island with a choice of gently sloping sandy beaches and views over the Solent. Water sports lovers will love paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming here and there is easy access along the seafront to the beach. The village is blessed with a good choice of eateries whether you choose Lily's for morning coffee and cake, The Old Fort for panoramic views and a locally sourced menu or the Seaview Hotel for fine dining. The traditional village shop has a wonderful selection of fresh produce so it's possible to have a holiday here without ever using the car!
If you do decide to explore further afield head to West Wight for dramatic scenery, stunning coastline and the iconic Needles. Perhaps take the chairlift to the beach (not for the fainthearted) and a trip on a speed boat or visit the clear waters of Freshwater Bay, the ideal place for outdoor activities. Majestic Osborne House, once the home of Queen Victoria is a grand place and a whole day can be spent exploring the house and manicured grounds with private beach. Walkers will love miles of trails and paths through woodland, open grasslands and coast, all beautifully kept and signposted.
