Be surrounded by the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline, enchanting sea views and the spellbinding sound of the sea at the extraordinary To the Lighthouse. This is a dream location to relax, catch up, write, read or to enjoy glorious 'do nothing' days by the sea. Whether you're enjoying the summer sun, exploring the outstanding beauty of the surrounding area or hunkering down in the winter months as the wild winds blow and the high seas crash on the cliffs below, To the Lighthouse offers the perfect getaway.

Simply and tastefully decorated in calming natural hues, with the use of natural materials throughout, the stylish three bedroom cottage sleeps six in two double and one twin room on the first floor. From almost every room the coastline and sea can be seen, with the rooms to the front of the cottage overlooking the lighthouse nearby. Spend precious time together relaxing in the sitting-room, enjoying a good movie after a day in the fresh Pembrokeshire air or tucking into some tasty, leisurely holiday meals around the dining-room table, which has sea views to die for. Lose yourself in the starry skies on balmy nights after the magnificent sunset either from the garden or from the shelter of 'The Cabin'...you could spend hours in here, in all weathers, gazing out to sea.

Environmental and fair-trade concerns are important to the owner and her aim at To the Lighthouse has been to implement these concerns, where appropriate, and so many items are pre-loved. Most of the wooden furniture was made by companies such as G Plan, Avalon and Ercol during the period 1950s to 1970s. The owner has also been particularly concerned by the materials used in the house. The house was painted with environmentally-friendly, non-toxic paints. You'll find organic cotton bed linen on the beds that are OEKO TEX and GOTS certified, which means that no harmful chemicals were used in the production of the items. Almost all of the fabrics in the house, including the sofa cushions and cushion covers, have the OEKO TEX certification. If you're vegan, you'll be pleased to know that all duvets and pillows are made from plant-based and non-animal derived fibres. The pillows are non-allergenic, unbleached cotton with a recycled fibre filling, and the duvets in the double bedrooms are made from sustainably grown Eucalyptus trees! The duvets in the twin room are 100% organic bamboo with the OEKO TEX certification. You will also find ecologically safe, vegan cleaning products and the J-cloths provided are anti-bacterial and compostable. To The Lighthouse has been awarded the Green Tourism Bronze Award.

Enjoy easy access to the Pembrokeshire coast from the cottage - Dale is perfect for paddle boarding, crabbing off the pontoon, sailing, lunch in the award-winning Griffin Inn and sandy beaches; Little Haven, Broad Haven, Marloes, boat trips to see the puffins on Skomer Island (from April to August) and the coastal path. There are lots of pretty nearby seaside villages and Folly Farm, Bluestone, Oakwood, the Dinosaur Park; or how about a trip to Tenby or north of the county to St Davids or Whitesands beach, popular with surfers.

With the heady combination of delightful interiors and the most enchanting scenery, To the Lighthouse offers a wonderful holiday throughout the year which you will never want to end.
