This exceptional terraced house, part of a small exclusive waterside development overlooking one of the world’s finest natural harbours, has accommodation carefully designed for a carefree holiday. The Pierhouse has double-glazing and sound insulation, and every labour-saving device you could want has been installed. The large kitchen is a delight, with white fitted units, a central island, and a stripped pine table and chairs in the dining-area. French windows lead onto the patio (see photograph – unfenced, so please take care with children), where exterior lighting means that you can extend the hours spent on the quayside well into the evening, a magical time of day on this stretch of the water. The first floor sitting-room is decorated in warm tones with a wealth of wall ornaments. A large bay window and a tiny balcony overlook the water, sharing the same fabulous views as the patio below. The ground floor twin bedroom has an en suite bathroom and the two bedrooms on the first floor share a second bathroom. A separate apartment occupies the second floor of the building. Please note that the changeover times are 6pm on arrival and 12 noon on departure.
