Geach’s Cott is an extremely comfortable first floor duplex apartment, part of the waterside Packet Quays development in Falmouth. There are wonderful views across Falmouth harbour to the Roseland peninsula from the living-room, balcony and double bedroom and with hundreds of moorings alive with activity from spring to autumn and a daily ferry criss-crossing the river, there is always something to watch out on the water. Geach's Cott has reverse accommodation making the most of the views (there are three flights of stairs from ground level, two from the parking-area). The living-room opens onto a balcony where you can sit to enjoy al fresco meals – although the variety of eating places within a ten minute walk may tempt you to dine out.
Geach's Cott is a modern, light-filled apartment with all the comforts of home. There is a large leather sofa and comfortable chairs in the sitting-area with books, maps and DVDs for guests’ use. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with everything necessary for holiday catering. Downstairs, the double and twin bedrooms share the family bathroom which has under-floor heating and a drench-head shower. Guests with boats can use a private slipway and foreshore, while less active seafarers can simply head to the Prince of Wales Pier just down the road where ferries sail to Truro, St Mawes, Flushing and the Helford River. The central location of Packet Quays is perfect for exploring the restaurants, bars and shops of Falmouth on foot. There are sandy beaches within a mile and lovely walks along the coast. Renowned Cornish gardens at Trelissick, Trebah and Glendurgan are nearby and, on the north coast, fabulous surf beaches are just half an hour away.
