The sheltered, enclosed garden is perfect for outdoor meals, the beach just a five minute walk away down the hill and pretty Polperro within a half hour’s ramble along the scenic coastal path. Bustling Looe is also only a short drive away making this delightful detached house ideal for families, the three spacious bedrooms (one downstairs) offering flexibility for five guests. Decorated in subtle shades of cream and with soft oatmeal carpets throughout, Fred’s House is a real home-from-home, traditionally furnished and very comfortable. The cosy sitting-room’s welcoming wood-burner warms the cooler evenings, and overlooking the garden the generous dining-room has plenty of room for everyone round the table. The ground floor bathroom has a separate shower cubicle as well as a bath, and beyond the small but well-equipped kitchen there is a separate cloakroom off the utility-room, where a Belfast sink is very handy for rinsing wetsuits after a day on the beach.
