There are tantalising glimpses of the sparkling waters of Talland Bay through the mature trees surrounding Fred’s House, where the sheltered garden is perfect for outdoor meals and the large lawn provides lots of space for children to play. The beach is just a five minute walk down the hill, pretty Polperro lies within half an hour’s ramble along the scenic coastal path, and bustling Looe is only a short drive away. Ideal for families, this delightful detached house has three spacious bedrooms (one downstairs) offering flexibility for five guests. Fred’s House is a real home-from-home, decorated in subtle creams, traditionally furnished and very comfortable. The cosy sitting-room has a welcoming wood-burner, and overlooking the garden the dining-room has plenty of space for everyone round the table. The ground floor bathroom includes a separate shower cubicle, and beyond the small but well-equipped kitchen there is a cloakroom and a utility-room, where the Belfast sink is very handy for rinsing swimsuits after a day on the beach.
