A spacious, detached granite-built property set in a tranquil location, Higher Carnon Farmhouse is an ideal base for families and groups of friends. Only a couple of miles from the Cathedral City of Truro and slightly further from the sailing town of Falmouth, the cottage offers seclusion and peace together with wireless broadband connection, satellite television with Sky Plus and easy access to all amenities. The garden has a large sheltered lawn bordered by trees and frequented by wildlife, overlooked by a terrace running the length of the house. The slate-floored entrance hall leads into a well planned kitchen, with double doors opening into the separate dining-room. The sitting-room has comfortable sofas and a warming multi-burner, with a door onto the terrace. Upstairs, pine furniture and white walls decorate all four light, airy bedrooms, with the family bathroom complemented by a shower-room downstairs. Situated close to the Mineral Tramways cycle routes, the cottage is perfect for those wishing to walk, ride or cycle (bicycles can be hired locally). The surfing beaches and magnificent clifftop walks of the north coast are also within easy reach by car. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
