Pooks Hill Cottage is such a pretty cottage. There is off street parking with an electric car charging facility. On street parking is available for a second vehicle close to the property.

Shaldon is a lovely Devonshire village on the Teign estuary and is under three miles away.

Brixham is also home to the Blue Flag Breakwater beach.
The naval town of Dartmouth is simply stunning whatever the time of year.

Pooks Hill Cottage is a delightful, cosy spot for a quiet get away. The pub is 2 mins away, but other than that there isn’t much within close walking distance so a car is a must to explore the area. We enjoyed several walks nearby. It takes about 30-40 mins to walk into Teignmouth. You can make a round trip - through fields one way and back along the sea wall. We can recommend Teign Bean for a great coffee. ...

Lovely quaint cottage in beautiful quiet hamlet location. Cosy lounge with good seating and the bed was so comfortable with a good sized powerful shower. Cottage garden caught the sun in the mornings but in shade in the afternoon. Plenty of everything which made for a very enjoyable stay. Very handy having a pub just yards away from the cottage which served good quality food with friendly staff. Handy location off main road between Dawlish and Teignmouth. ...

My wife and I stayed at Pook's Hill Cottage for five days at the end of October. The weather was not particularly welcoming, but we were cosy and comfortable here. Unfortunately we did not have much of chance to see the countryside. However we did get to the Castle Inn in the village for dinner a couple of times: on the Thursday evening it was full and the food was excellent. On the following Monday it was a disappointment.
