Rose Cottage
1824 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Rose Cottage, how about trying these:
Perched on a sharp hill outside the village and visible for miles around is the 12th Century church of St Michael of the Rock, and North Brentor is tucked away half a mile down the road. Rose Cottage, which dates from the early 17th Century, is up a tiny lane (you have to reverse out of the parking space). This lovely cottage has slate floors, a multi-burner, beamed ceilings, one or two low lintels and a steep staircase (take care with toddlers) up to the two pretty bedrooms. As well as the sitting-room, on the ground floor there is a dining-room, a compact kitchen and a traditionally furnished bathroom with a roll-top bath. For those who enjoy sitting outside, there is a small raised patio by the cottage and a spacious garden found across the lane. Furnished and decorated with flair, this is the perfect cottage for a Dartmoor holiday.
