Nestled close to the tip of the Llyn peninsula in stunning north Wales, Bwlch Y Groes is a charming Welsh farmhouse with fabulous seascape views of Porth Neigwl in the distance and surrounded by beautiful, rugged countryside. Dating back to around 1840, this characterful Grade II Listed home is perfect for either a family holiday or a couples' secluded getaway, and a well behaved dog is welcome.

The timeless beauty of north Wales becomes evident as you drive through verdant countryside along windy lanes to the track which leads to Bwlch Y Groes. The farmhouse retains many original features including beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls which have been sympathetically restored. The cosy sitting-room has a gorgeous feature inglenook fireplace with a wood-burner to keep you warm whatever the weather and comfy sofas where you can snuggle up in front of the TV. The dining-table in this room is perfect for gathering everyone round to chat about the day's adventures. The separate kitchen has all the equipment you will need to cook a holiday meal. Also on the ground floor you will find a spacious and stylish bathroom with feature free-standing claw-foot bath and swish walk-in shower.

Climb the turning staircase where you will find three pretty bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom one is a delightful room with pretty bed linens and a comfy king-size bed. Dual deep-set windows look out towards the sea, what a lovely view to awaken to. Bedroom two is a double and bedroom three has twin beds (for children only). You can look forward to a long soak in the first floor bath after a day exploring.

Outside, your blissful elevated location will captivate year-round. To the front a small walled patio provides the perfect place to take morning coffee with a view of the shimmering sea in the distance. To the rear a large slate patio provides the perfect spot for relaxing, surrounded by trees and lovely views of rolling countryside, dotted with grazing cattle and sheep. Majestic Garn Fadryn mountain sits just behind the cottage, quite a view! Please note the garden is not enclosed and your dog will need to be on a lead. There are working farm buildings nearby however these are not used daily. Bwlch y Groes really is a delightful holiday abode awaiting your arrival.

The Llyn peninsula is a magical place for a holiday, your holiday cottage is perfectly placed equidistant between the wonderful seaside villages of Abersoch, Aberdaron and Morfa Nefyn so you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to sandy beaches. Abersoch is a sailor's paradise and during the summer months the bay is dotted with sailing vessels of all shapes and sized. Aberdaron is the jewel in the crown of the Llyn peninsula with a fabulous beach, places to dine and seasonal boat trips to Bardsey Island. Surfers in the party should head for Hells Mouth, a vast sweeping sandy bay of epic proportions.

Walkers should head out along the coast path to discover the many hidden coves and inlets along the way, or perhaps explore the countryside from the doorstep. How ever you plan to spend your days, a holiday at Bwlch Y Groes will leave lasting memories.
