Sunny little Owl’s Barn is a relaxed and comfortable retreat in a lesser-known, unspoilt part of Devon. The Owners, who live next door, provide guests with a pasture area with trampoline, summer-house and pond (only accessible on request, please take care with children). Detached Owl’s Barn has been carefully renovated to provide compact but well thought out accommodation. The sitting-room is bright and spacious and the two cosy bedrooms are upstairs. The enclosed patio is screened by trellis to provide privacy and is perfect for an al fresco lunch or Devon cream tea. There is plenty to do within easy reach of the cottage – the well-known Tarka Trail is nearby as is the wonderful north Devon coast with special days out to be had in Clovelly and Bideford, or even Lundy Island. The local area offers woodland walks or lake fishing while fantastic Dartmoor is only just over ten miles away. Owl’s Barn, immaculately presented, offers a calm spot in which to enjoy simple holiday pastimes.
