Flackstead is a unique eco-friendly house which has breath-taking and uninterrupted coastal views across Compton Bay towards the Needles. Flackstead combines the very best of contemporary design with a New England-style beach house character and will definitely not disappoint. It has an extremely efficient biomass boiler and solar panels making this an ideal choice for our eco-friendly guests. One of the most striking features is the natural light which floods into the whole house throughout the day, amazing sunsets can be admired and enjoyed from the beautiful garden complete with firepit and decked area. Light up one of the barbecues, there are two to choose from; one gas and one charcoal, so relax and pour yourself a glass of wine. To entertain the whole family after dinner why not enjoy a game of table tennis? You might improve your skills as the week goes on! Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the master bedroom and balcony or even from the en suite bath tub. Perfect for both families and small groups, Flackstead is located in the heart of the Island's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty making it ideal for walkers, cyclists and outdoor pursuits enthusiasts. There. is plenty to see and do locally with both the beaches and the breath-taking Tennyson Down and coastal walks just a few minutes' walk away. The towns of Freshwater and Yarmouth are both a short distance away by bus or car, with a variety of independent shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants to choose from.
