Hope Farm is a magnificent house set in the most superb location, with the highest of green credentials. Over the years Hope Farm has been awarded nine gold awards from the Devon Wildlife Trust for conservation and protection of natural habitat, so you don't need to take our word for how special this location is. Set in 88 acres of breathtaking views, with very rare and special sights, Hope Farm is the perfect location to enjoy a truly special holiday. The house itself is equally as impressive as the grounds; the luxurious feel and style which flows through this beautiful house offers something very unique; everything has been accounted for, from comfort and style to all mod-cons, and is ideal for a party or family gathering, especially as you have a fabulous tennis-table room in the centre of the house. Hope Farm and all its inhabitants are exceptionally precious to us, therefore your consideration for the 'locals' will be very much appreciated. Dogs are extremely welcome at Hope Farm, the Owner has even created a fully enclosed paddock for your dog(s) to run wild, however it is very important that dogs are kept on a lead whenever in any other part of the grounds. Throughout your holiday you will meet Mr Peabody (resident peacock) and his following of ducks, along with the very friendly alpacas that can't help but say hello. You may also see the very friendly grounds crew tending to the animals/land, don't be shy in asking for any tips and hints as to how to enjoy these fabulous grounds. There is so much to see and do, from walking around the perimeter of the grounds on the man-made path, to sitting by the lake in total peace and tranquility, to barbecues in the secret woodland area which is simply magical and a real treat for the younger members of the party, as they can explore till their heart's content with you sound in the knowledge that the grounds are strictly private and every safety measure has been taken to ensure maximum enjoyment. With all this grandeur and luxury Hope Farm makes for the perfect venue, allowing you to fill the fridges, unpack and unwind, without the need to venture out each day. However, for the beach lovers, the beautiful sandy and surf beaches of Bude are only a short car drive away, and in the opposite direction you have infamous Dartmoor, a full day of adventure awaits within this very special moorland. You really have something for everyone in this stunning location.
After a full day of relaxing or exploring in these stunning grounds, fling open the patio doors and step onto the raised terrace which offers plentiful seating for the whole group, and treats you to the most glorious uninterrupted countryside views. Pop open something tasty, sit back and relax while watching the younger members play on the splendid lawn directly in front of you. Or perhaps you fancy slipping off into the memory garden, which is a real little sun-trap, with a pair of benches perfectly positioned for a picnic, or the private patio-area and seating, the memory garden is a beautiful spot to escape to for a while. We all know that it's not just the children that have oodles of energy, your four-legged friends also need to let off steam, which is why they have their very own enclosed paddock at their disposal. A short walk from the house, through the memory garden, you will find this well-maintained paddock, perfect for throwing a ball or 10. In this paddock dogs are welcome to roam free and explore in the safety and peace of mind that this is their own private piece of land. The sights which await you are very special and rare, from protected and rare species of butterflies to the cheeky otters that thrive in the river which borders the grounds, and it is easy to understand why these grounds have been accredited with such a prestigious award from the Devon Wildlife Trust.
