Tucked away down a pretty Devon lane in a tiny hamlet is 1 Arthur Cottages, a charming cottage at the end of a terrace of three. Built in the late 1800s it has the original slate floors, beamed ceilings (and the odd low lintel), an exposed stone wall in the sitting-room and a warming wood-burner, as well as full central heating. Spacious but still with a cosy feel, this is such a pretty cottage with a well-equipped kitchen/diner and a really lovely conservatory on the back which looks over the patio and fields beyond. The courtyard is incredibly sheltered so if the weather is kind you can enjoy a barbecue in the evening, or if inclement, retire to the conservatory or comfortable sitting-room. A lovely little cottage just waiting to be visited.
