The Old Post Office is in the heart of the pretty estuary village of Axmouth just one mile from the spectacular Jurassic Coast at Seaton. This is an ideal location for exploring the gorgeous east Devon and west Dorset coastline with its historic fishing villages and unspoilt beaches. Lyme Regis and Charmouth – where children will love fossil hunting – are a short distance in one direction and Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth in the other. This deceptively spacious terraced village house has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and is set over three floors offering flexible accommodation for six guests. The open plan design downstairs creates a lovely sociable living space (tall people beware of low ceilings and beams) which opens onto the south-facing patio and sheltered enclosed terraced garden – a real sun-trap. The front door opens onto the quiet residential road (please take care with children especially if they want to enjoy the little playground further down the road). There is plenty of parking space outside the cottage as well as a designated parking space at the rear.
