Description

Good things come in small packages, they say, and this lovingly converted and gorgeously decorated single-storey, detached stone barn proves that true. Forming one side of a prettily planted gravelled courtyard, The Snug is bordered by Little Resugga (2283) and the Owners’ farmhouse, both with their own secluded gardens ensuring privacy for all. The open plan living area has whitewashed walls, low beams, sumptuous linens, wonderful artwork and lovely chandeliers, all evidence of the quality of the cottage. A small kitchen-area (fitted with a 2 ring hob and combination microwave for cooking) and comfortable armchairs border the bedroom-area with its ornate Victorian-style metal bedstead, while a separate shower-room lies beyond. Tucked away amidst tranquil countryside, the World Heritage Site Luxulyan Valley, a naturalists’ delight, and footpaths, cycle trails and fly fishing lakes are all on the doorstep. The Eden Project, beautiful Charlestown harbour, the sailing town of Fowey and the ancient stannary town of Lostwithiel, home to numerous intriguing antiques shops, are all within five miles and just waiting to be explored. Please note this property has a private water supply (regularly tested).
