Exquisitely decorated and beautifully furnished, Little Resugga is so gorgeous it has even been featured in Tatler magazine. Wonderful vintage and contemporary artwork adorns the walls, from the kitchen/dining-room, bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor to the huge, light-filled sitting-room above. Sumptuous linens, luxuriously upholstered seating and soft rugs combine with a claw-foot bath and big quadrant cubicle with drench-head shower to create a stunning interior. The sitting-room has something to help everyone relax with deep sofas, chandeliers, a gorgeous olive green wood-burner and an Xbox for the youngsters. Found at the end of a tree-lined lane amid lovely countryside, this wonderful cottage has only the warmly welcoming but unobtrusive Owners and The Snug (2284) – a haven for couples – as near neighbours.
Little Resugga has a private enclosed south-facing garden, abundantly planted and facing over meadows towards the beautiful Luxulyan Valley, a World Heritage Site with meandering footpaths to explore. The accommodation is semi-reversed and a door leads from the sitting-room down granite steps to the garden, which is also accessed from the kitchen and double bedroom. Chunky wooden garden furniture provides a lovely outdoor eating area on warm sunny days. The wonderfully rural feel of the location belies its easy access to the A30, so all corners of Cornwall are within reach. The sailing waters and picturesque streets of Fowey, the fishing village of Mevagissey and the ancient town of Lostwithiel all beckon you to visit. Closer to home there are fly fishing lakes, footpaths, cycle trails and the Eden Project, so this is the perfect place for relaxing and active holidays alike.
