In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the Blackdown Hills and the Otter Valley, The Gables offers amazing panoramic views from the private patio and large enclosed garden. Guests can enjoy gentle walks along the well-kept bridlepath which leads from The Gables, and three other small cottages at the farm, through farmland to a picnic-area beside a small wood, or downhill alongside fields to a peaceful fishing lake (please take care with children). Sit and watch the wildlife in this lovely setting, or try your hand at fishing. The cottage itself is bright and contemporary with traditional touches such as oak doors and Suffolk latches. Single-storey, with a large wet-room (together with an en suite shower-room) and no steps, it is well designed for wheelchair users. There is under-floor heating throughout and a wood-burner in the open plan living area. The market town of Honiton, Cathedral City of Exeter and beautiful east Devon beaches along the Jurassic Coast are within easy reach. The property has a regularly tested private water supply.
