This cottage offers amazing panoramic views from its private patio and totally enclosed garden. Situated in east Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the Blackdown Hills and Honiton, inland from the Jurassic Coast, The Gables is bright and contemporary, with traditional touches such as oak doors with Suffolk latches. Single-storey, with a large wet-room (and an en suite shower-room) and no steps, it is designed for accessibility. A wood-burner in the open plan living area makes this a great all year round base. Dogs are welcome here and a well-kept path leads from the cottage, and the three others here, to a picnic-area beside a small wood, or downhill alongside fields to a peaceful fishing lake.
