Description

Starlight has panoramic views over Dartmouth, the River Dart and surrounding countryside. The large patio, reached by stone steps from the parking-area or from the sitting-room, has sun almost all day with views to the Britannia Royal Naval College. There is parking for three cars and the front door is reached by six wide stone steps. Set on Kingswear hill, the living-rooms are on the top floor with the bedrooms downstairs, the twin room having a pull-out bed to allow flexibility, although the house only accommodates six adults. In a peaceful cul-de-sac the house is private, comfortable and the colour of many of the houses along the Venetian Grand Canal! For the kids there is a small playing field and recreation ground in fields above the house. Dartmouth is accessible by passenger and car ferry at the bottom of the hill and from Dartmouth you can take fishing expeditions and river trips. There are shops – some quirky, some stylish – and a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars. There are plenty of National Trust properties to see, including Agatha Christie’s house Greenway down the river. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
