Berry Head Cottage is on the left, one of a pair of Edwardian cottages.

Description

Brixham is perched on the edge of Torbay and Berry Head Country Park is on the edge of the town with lovely rural and clifftop walks. Just around the corner from the sea (see photograph) and the free open-air salt-water Shoalstone swimming pool, two cottages were built around the turn of the century and are a mirror image of one another. Berry Head Cottage itself has lovely gardens with lawns, a little pond (please take care with children), a patio and stone steps going up to hidden terraces high above the cottage. Inside, there is a cosy sitting-room and separate dining-room, the latter with a door to the garden. A step goes up to the compact kitchen and there is also a separate utility-room. The ground floor bedroom is ideal for the elderly and has its own en suite shower-room. Upstairs are two further pretty bedrooms and a spacious family bathroom. With the sea and rural walks on the doorstep and just over a mile from the bustle of the busy harbour, Berry Head Cottage is a real gem, just right for a perfect holiday.
