Nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, South Farm is an idyllic holiday destination less than an hour’s drive from Exmoor or Dartmoor. Both The Farm House and Oak Tree Cottage have wonderful views and share the numerous facilities with guests of five other nearby holiday cottages. A communal games barn is ideal for children to let off steam, whilst adults indulge in a sauna and spa (at cost) or use the gym, perhaps even swim in the heated outdoor pool (available 2 May to 26 September – supervise children at all times) after a game of tennis. The grounds are extensive with picnic tables and a children’s play-area; there are four well-stocked fishing lakes (again, please supervise children), and deer and Honey Buzzards roam the area. Wireless broadband access is available at both properties. If you can tear yourselves away, nearby Honiton or Tiverton are worth a visit although once you are settled at South Farm, leaving will be the last thing on your mind.

Oak Tree Cottage is a delightful, recently refurbished cottage with views over the Blackdown Hills and fields. The master bedroom and sitting-room have picture windows which make the most of the outlook. In the sitting-room a wood-burner adds warmth on cooler evenings. The enclosed garden provides a place to relax whilst the children enjoy the facilities that South Farm has to offer.
