This spacious, detached cottage nestles on a hillside in the unspoilt village of Petrockstowe. Although only a stroll from the village pub (which serves meals), the cottage enjoys a secluded, peaceful position down the Owners’ private lane with stunning views over the wooded valley. Divided over three levels, slate and oak floors, designer fabrics and a whirlpool bath ensure a luxurious feel. Steps lead from the well-equipped kitchen/diner to the sitting-room with its home cinema system (including a 40” HD television) and French windows opening onto the patio and enclosed, terraced gardens. Geothermal under-floor heating, solar panels and a wood-burner in the sitting-room make Larkworthy Cottage cosy for out-of-season breaks with a reduced carbon footprint! The Tarka Trail, ideal for walking and cycling, runs through Petrockstowe, RHS Rosemoor is close by and the ‘sand and surf’ beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are easily accessible.
