Redcliffe is a water lover’s paradise, with direct access from the enclosed garden down spiral steps to a private quay. At high tide you can swim, sail or canoe from the jetty and a semi-dry mooring is available. Or if you prefer, you can relax in the hot tub on the lower deck (accessed from the ground floor); lit up at night, you can enjoy the water views whatever the time of day or year. Right on the River Teign, there are wonderful views from the first floor balcony downriver towards Shaldon or Dartmoor upriver. The sitting/dining-room is beautifully furnished and opens out onto this balcony, as does the stylish kitchen. There is also a large games-room, a double bedroom and cloakroom on the first floor, and the remaining four bedrooms downstairs, where there is also a fitness area and sauna, open onto the ground floor deck. Care should be taken with children and toddlers around the river, balcony and deck. With full central heating from an eco-friendly air-sourced system, Redcliffe is perfect all year round – you will have to visit.
