On the edge of the Teign estuary, where it meets the sea, is Shaldon village. The coast road towards Torbay sweeps up above the village and Spinnakers is one of a group of detached houses set back from this road, with their own access lane (the private parking is on this lane). Positioned at the top of the steep front garden with the drive going up on one side, you can park up here to unload. There are magnificent views of the estuary and sea beyond from the attractively furnished sitting-room and first floor sun-room, which has floor to ceiling windows and runs along the front of the house. The views will delight all and there is plenty of room. As well as the sitting-room, there is a fitted kitchen/breakfast-room and a separate dining-room. Outside is an enclosed terraced rear garden with a large flat area. The front deck will be the place to sit at dusk as the twinkling lights of Shaldon and Teignmouth come alight along the banks of the estuary. Spinnakers is a house that will linger in the memory long after returning home. Please note that the changeover times are 5pm on arrival and 12pm on departure.
