If you were looking for cottages like Bessemer Thatch, how about trying these:

In the heart of Berrynarbor, one of north Devon’s prettiest villages just a mile or so from the sea, stands Bessemer Thatch. Perfect for gathering friends and family, the house is a great blend of character and modern amenities. Each bedroom boasts its own bathroom or shower-room and the house is large enough to allow everyone space to relax or to enjoy each other’s company. Originally three cottages, the house (now with a slate roof!) has been furnished and equipped to a high standard by the friendly Owners, who live in a separate cottage on the other side of the small but pretty enclosed garden. The sitting-room has an ornamental fireplace, comfortable armchairs and a door leading out to the wide stone terrace, a sun-trap year-round and perfect for a drink or barbecue overlooking the beautiful Sterridge Valley. The dining-room will no doubt be the setting of many convivial meals, while the spacious kitchen allows budding chefs room to experiment, although there is also a good pub within walking distance! The first floor, accessed by two staircases, has four pretty, comfortable bedrooms, one of which has a door to a small balcony overlooking the garden (please take care with children). On the second floor is a welcome playroom with table-football (beware of the low beams!), leading to a flexible fifth bedroom which can accommodate a double and single or three single beds. Berrynarbor, not far from the surfing beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde, has a thriving village shop and many wonderful walks, making Bessemer Thatch the ideal base to return to after exploring Exmoor or the beautiful golden coast.
