A feeling of calm and tranquility surrounds this lovely Victorian building, in the small hamlet of Hollocombe, deep in rural Devon. Many of the original features have been retained to give St Michael and All Angels great character at the same time as being a comfortable and spacious place to stay. Inside there is plenty of space and light – some beautiful new stained glass windows have been added. Downstairs is the large, comfortable sitting-room with a wood-burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast-room and a formal dining-room. The pretty bedrooms are all on the first floor, the master bedroom being exceptionally large. Set in an enclosed garden (there is no graveyard!), there is also a very large sheltered patio. Please take care with small children as there are several steps up and down and a drop on one side of the house. Equidistant between the north Devon coast with its wide sandy beaches and the Dartmoor National Park with its famous granite tors, you will have a wide choice for days out. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
