Description

Drive down the private farm lane to this charming, comfortably furnished cottage. The detached, single-storey property, set in a pretty secluded valley, overlooks three large ponds (one of which has wild otters) and extensive gardens which guests can explore; it also has its own garden. The open plan living-room has exposed beams, a polished wooden floor and comfortable upholstery and leads to the attractive bedroom with a king-size bed and a spacious en suite bathroom. The compact kitchen-area has a sloping panelled ceiling and there is access to a utility-room with storage in the barn opposite. Bed and Breakfast is offered at the Owners’ nearby farmhouse, and breakfast can also be provided for guests at Peacock Cottage. Bird watchers will love all the wild birds and keen walkers may enjoy the footpath leading to surrounding farmland and woods. Excellent beaches and coastal walks are close by, as well as Agatha Christie’s old home Greenway. This property has a private water supply, which is tested regularly.
