The detached, single-storey and very cosy property overlooks three large ponds and extensive gardens which guests are welcome to explore; it also has its own secluded garden. The open plan living-room has exposed beams, a polished wooden floor and comfortable upholstery. The compact pine fitted kitchen-area has a sloping panelled ceiling and there is access to a utility-room with storage in the barn opposite. There is a king-size bed with pretty co-ordinating bed linen and a spacious en suite bathroom. Bed and Breakfast is offered at the Owners’ nearby farmhouse, and breakfast can also be provided for guests at Peacock Cottage. Keen walkers may enjoy the footpath leading to surrounding farmland, woods and a trout stocked lake, and excellent beaches and coastal walks are close by. This property has a private water supply, which is tested regularly.
