If you like the idea of looking over the sea to England watching the ships go in and out of Portsmouth and Southampton while drinking your morning coffee, listening to the sea from your bedroom, and walking 50 yards to the beach and 10 minutes along it to get your paper, then this is the cottage for you. Very relaxing, particularly in the off season when less pressure on car park space etc....

This is a very pretty cottage in a wonderful location with fantastic views of the Solent. We would definitely return. It might feel a little cramped with 4 adults and if you are fussy about these things take your own pillows.

It was our first time to the Isle of Wight and we were not disappointed. The cottage was perfect for morning and evening strolls on the beach and we enjoyed boat watching from the dining table.
