Robbie grew up on the Isle of Wight and is the founder of a website called Isle of Wight Guru. He is a former BBC journalist and newsreader who now spends his time promoting the Isle of Wight’s gorgeous beaches and calendar of festivals. His favourite spot on the Island is Compton Bay on a summer’s evening when the tide is at its lowest. His ambition is to travel along the UK’s entire coastline, stopping at the best beaches en route.
