Description

This lovely traditional Cornish farmhouse, with its spacious accommodation and stripped pine doors and beams, makes an ideal base for family holidays. Cosy and comfortable, the main sitting-room has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood-burner and satellite television (including Sky Sports), whilst a second television in the smaller sitting-room is useful for children. The large kitchen provides ample opportunity for catering with its smart navy electric range cooker, light oak cupboards, sunny yellow walls and terracotta floor. The dining-room, once the dairy, has French windows out to a patio-area with wonderful countryside views. Two double and two twin bedrooms along with a bathroom and two shower-rooms complete the generous accommodation. There is an enclosed orchard and a games-room close by, and Maggie’s Barn (1671) is your only neighbour. The house is set down a private lane leading from the A390, giving easy access to Truro to the west and the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens to the east. With the Roseland peninsula on your doorstep, sandy beaches at Caerhays, Porthpean and Pentewan are all within easy reach. Please note the higher rent band applies from 23 June to 7 September. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
