Surrounded by peaceful countryside, Cardwen Farm is tucked away in a tranquil rural setting on the outskirts of the village of Pelynt. The Owners have converted two adjacent barns beside their beautiful garden, both with a nesting-box in the roof space offering sanctuary to local owls. Guests are welcome to explore the garden, with its pretty stream and two duck ponds (please take care with children), and there is also a large grassy play-area. Each cottage has its own patio with steps leading up to the front door. The Eden Project is easily accessible via the Bodinnick Ferry at Fowey, Lanhydrock is just eight miles away, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey await your discovery. The bustling, picturesque harbour at Looe and the historic smuggling village of Polperro are nearby, as are several sandy beaches and local golf courses. There is also ample hard-standing for a boat trailer and wireless broadband is available at both cottages, although due to the thickness of the stone walls reception is best near a window.

Characterised by its high beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls, Cardwen Cottage’s spacious open plan living-room overlooks the garden and has two large sofas, a cosy wood-burner, and open archways leading to the oak-furnished dining-area and the compact but well-equipped kitchen-area. Stairs lead down to the bathroom and bedrooms, one with an en suite shower-room.
