A tree-lined private lane leads over the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway bridge to Colesloggett Farmhouse, which dates from the 1730s. Apart from one neighbour and the Owners, who live elsewhere in the grounds, guests will be quite private. The sitting-room has a wood-burner and there is a separate dining-room. The farmhouse kitchen has original slate floors, an oil-fired Rayburn, a gas cooker, and steps down to a spacious pantry. Upstairs are three bedrooms, all in keeping with this charming detached cottage; the bathroom boasts a roll-top bath. Outside is a spacious garden with an orchard, where poultry roam. There are several areas to sit and enjoy the tranquility, as well as swings for the children, and a covered area for bicycles. Nature lovers will love the pond (take care with children) which attracts all manner of wildlife. There are wonderful walks nearby and the odd steam train chuffing through the valley adds to the atmosphere (children must be supervised when viewing the trains). Equidistant from north and south coasts, the cottage is ideal for moor or bucket and spade holidays. There is a private water supply (tested regularly). Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
