Description

In the heart of the Glynn Valley, Colesloggett Farmhouse is down a tiny lane over a bridge which crosses the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway. This is heaven for the railway enthusiast, having your own station (Colesloggett Halt) in the grounds, so why not hop on the train and enjoy the slow travel of yesteryear through some truly gorgeous scenery? The house itself is also a step back in time, with a slate-floored kitchen and steps to a large pantry. There is a cosy sitting-room and separate dining-room, and charming bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Surrounded by 650 acres of Cardinham Woods, apart from the Owners who live in the grounds and one neighbour, guests will be quite private. Chickens roam the gardens, there are swings and a wildlife pond (please take care with children) as well as a covered area provided for surfboards or bikes. Equidistant from the north and south coasts the cottage is perfect for a bucket and spade day or a walk across the moors. There is a private water supply (tested regularly). Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
