Outside, the short driveway takes you onto the road (please take care with young children) which leads to the historic town of Helston, the picturesque fishing village of Porthleven and the golden sandy beach at Praa Sands – or in the other direction to St Ives, with its many interesting galleries, shops, restaurants and pretty harbour.
