The Leat promises a 'get away from it all' holiday, in a lovely single-storey property with an exceptional garden in a small hamlet on the outskirts of the Bone Valley near Marazion. Furnished with a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture, the house offers comfort and character. The kitchen/diner has a huge antique table at its heart, the perfect place to prepare a family meal with a George Foreman grill, coffee maker and slow cooker also provided. The bedrooms are set along the corridor. The first is a double, the second is a twin room and has access to the Jack and Jill bathroom which is also accessed from the hallway; the third bedroom, also a double, boasts an en suite shower-room. The fabulous sitting-room is spacious and has French doors leading out to the beautiful garden, which has a large garden table and comfortable chairs - sit back and relax. The Owners live in an adjacent annexe and are on hand if you have any problems.
The Leat is located just a stone's throw from Trevaylor Woods, a mystical woods with a running stream, stepping stones and many trees to climb. Children will delight in paddling and climbing, or even building a camp. Further afield are beautiful beaches such as Marazion with St Michael's Mount, Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. With the renowned Gurnard's Head pub just a few miles away, you can enjoy some great local food too.
