Set on the hillside in the grounds of the Owners' house this cute semi-detached studio barn enjoys outstanding rural views overlooking the ancient market town of Helston on the edge of the beautiful Penrose Estate. Enjoy breakfast in the shared courtyard behind the cottage whilst deciding which craggy cove or sandy beach you are going to explore today. The pretty harbour town and renowned 'foodie destination' of Porthleven is only a few minutes' drive away, so why not book a table in one of the many wonderful restaurants and get a taxi home ready to sink into that super-king size bed, full of great food and weary after all that fresh Cornish air before waking the next day refreshed and ready for the next adventure.

This little semi-detached cottage gem (attached to Martlett Barn (3251)) is surrounded by the Owners' fields where you will see their beautiful horses peacefully grazing in the sunshine, and right on your doorstep you have access to many miles of paths to explore by foot or bicycle on the Penrose Estate. Follow the purpose made tracks down to the lake at Loe Bar, the largest natural fresh water lake in Cornwall, or into the surrounding woodlands with wonderful views in every direction. Also close by is Coronation Park, complete with boating lake, bike hire and a cafe, and it's only a short walk from here up into Helston where you will find the banks, shops, pubs and cafes with larger supermarkets just outside of the town centre. With the Lizard peninsula, Helford River, Trebah and Glendurgan gardens and so much to see in this unspoilt and beautiful area of Cornwall, little Hirondelle Barn is the perfect base for your holiday.
