St Ewe is a pretty village, consisting of an excellent local inn and a few traditional houses surrounding a beautiful old church, part of which dates back to the 16th Century. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are half a mile away, with a fantastic farm shop on site, and the Eden Project is just nine miles away. The location is ideal for exploring the bustling fishing villages and excellent south coast beaches by day, with a peaceful rural haven to return to in the evening. The Barn, on the outskirts of the village, is a delightful conversion of old farm buildings where tubs of flowers fill the courtyard with colour in summer. The Owner, Mrs Reid, lives in the main house – she is one of our most caring Owners and will make you very welcome.

Attached to the main house, and adjoining Ash Cottage, is Pine Cottage, attractively furnished throughout in pine, including a lovely old pine table and wheelback chairs. At one end of the living-room stands a delightful little stripped pine corner dresser with lattice window panes. Open beams and an ornamental stone fireplace add further character to the room, and the comfortable two-piece suite covered in pretty cottage-style fabric provides cosy, attractive seating. A corridor leads to the bathroom and beyond this is the bedroom. From the living-room, a door opens onto a private patio at the rear.
