If you're after a period property that is full of character, then Afton Thatch is the place for you. With its thatched roof, oak beams, open fireplaces and glorious river views, this cottage is bursting with period features and has 'rural retreat' written all over it. Offering many thoughtful touches throughout, Afton Thatch is a spacious family home set in rolling countryside in Old Freshwater. Whether you're enjoying a sumptuous family feast in the large kitchen with its warming Aga, or sat outside admiring the views whilst sipping a cool evening drink, this cottage will not disappoint.

There are two comfortable living areas with cosy sofas, armchairs and open fires so why not curl up with a good book, or enjoy a family games evening. Stairs at either end of the property lead to three comfortable bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom. Outside there is a large, landscaped garden so plenty of room for younger members of the party to run and play. For larger parties, the property can be booked alongside Afton Lodge (3572).
