Only minutes by car from glorious St Ives Bay, this beautiful Grade II Listed detached barn just outside Gwinear village has been sympathetically converted using eco-friendly materials wherever possible. It includes a highly efficient wood-burner, under-floor heating fired by a woodchip boiler, and water supplied from a bore-hole (regularly tested), heated by photovoltaic solar panels. Finished to an exceptional standard, immaculately presented and extremely comfortable, this light-filled south-west facing cottage and enclosed private garden are perfect for a peaceful, relaxing break in any season (secure bike storage and parking for a boat trailer are available). Two friendly resident dogs, Piglet and Rupert, may well be there to welcome you, along with the free-range chickens! The Owners, who live in the lovely farmhouse nearby, will provide a discreet presence tailored to your needs. Goneva Farm Haybarn’s stunning interior includes an open beamed sitting-room, with an oak staircase ascending to the en suite double bedroom. The fabulous bathroom is beside the pretty downstairs twin room (please mind the steps), and floor to ceiling windows in the gorgeous kitchen/dining-room overlook the garden where breathtaking sunsets are often to be enjoyed. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
