This stunning detached house overlooking pretty Porlock village has far reaching sea views and is an ideal base for walking. The Orchard is extremely spacious with French windows to the garden from the dual aspect sitting-room, with its lovely wood-burner, and from the first floor cot-room/study. The open plan kitchen/dining-room adjoins the snug and is a sociable space for all the family. The bedrooms have wonderful views over the gardens, orchard and woodland at the top of the hill, and the master bedroom boasts sea views. There are two sheltered patios and a large enclosed terraced garden as well as the namesake hillside orchard (very steep so take care) where deer often graze. A magical track through private woodland links up with the footpaths that lead to Porlock Weir and the coast a mile and a half away. You can stroll into Porlock in minutes for shops, pubs and cafes, and the coastline offers the choice of wide sandy beaches at Minehead or rocky foreshores where the Exmoor National Park reaches the clifftops. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
